Tahirah Sharif is a British actress, known for her roles as Ella Ashford in BBC medical drama, ''Casualty'' and Carrie Norton in BBC school drama, ''Waterloo Road''. ==Career== Sharif's career began when she appeared in a commercial for Skype in 2009. This was followed by an online BBC video where she played lead, Shanice. She also featured in a McDonald's advert in 2013. In early 2013, Sharif was cast as the teenage daughter of Martin Ashford (Patrick Robinson), Ella. Ella was billed as "mischievous, a true troublemaker and determined to cause trouble for Ash (Martin )". Sharif also starred in the final ten episodes of long-running school drama, ''Waterloo Road'', as student Carrie Norton. These episodes will air from 5 January to 9 March 2015.
